Greetings Kick Out at 2 readers and welcome back to this week’s edition of RAW IS XANATOS! Unfortunately this will be my last Weekly Edition of RAW IS XANATOS for awhile. At this time in my life I’m dealing with too many outside situations and different issues that do not allow me to remain dedicated to the segment and give it the attention that I feel it deserves. I guess you can kinda say I’m pulling a Chris Jericho and taking a small break. Rest assured I will still be here doing my normal articles and I couldn’t be happier with the direction that RAW has taken over the last few months. Unlike John Cena, I know when something gets stale and repetitive so that’s why I’m putting “Kick Out at 2’s Longest Running Weekly Episodic Article” on hold. Hopefully it will return soon revitalized and in a different format but for now all I can say is thank you for reading weekly and I hope you have enjoyed my views of WWE’s flagship program.

Thank You So Much!

Greetings Kick Out at 2 readers and welcome back to this week’s edition of RAW IS XANATOS!  Fresh of the heels of SummerSlam everyone expected a new WWE Champion. Everyone wanted Daniel Bryan but here we are in another “Age of Orton”. I somewhat expected this but because it was almost too obvious I was hoping they wouldn’t go that way. I guess the “swerve” was supposed to be Triple H going heel but yet again the moment he was added as the referee it was pretty clear this would happen as well. With WWE’s “Biggest party of The Summer” now over let’s take a look at the fallout it had on this weeks RAW and PPV  with…RAW IS XANATOS!

My Top Moments of this RAW:

1) JOHN CENA ANNOUNCING HE IS LEAVING THE WWE FOR 4-6 MONTHS!!!  – Yes I typed that in all caps because it needed to be. For over a decade now we have seen Cena in the same routine over and over and over and over and over again…. It’s beyond time for this guy to step aside and let someone else bask in the limelight for awhile. When you announce you’re taking time off due to an injury and you get a resounding cheer because you’re leaving that should tell you something. This will be an awesome time for wrestling and a chance for others to show the company what they can do. If you are in the group that will miss Cena fear not. I’m sure he will still be able to see his segments on Total Divas.

2) Daniel Bryan- Sunday the top Babyface in the company did something that a lot of people didn’t think was possible. He pinned Cena clean and won the WWE Championship.  The WWE Fanbase and Internet literally blew up for those few minutes that Bryan was Champion. The fact that Randy Orton cashed in on him after Triple H’s betrayal did something else the WWE has been needing for awhile. Orton and Triple H are now no doubt the top heels in the company and this will do nothing but put Daniel Bryan over even more in a  major way. As much as it currently sucks for Bryan his big picture is going to manifest to something awesome. I’m calling it now that he headlines Wrestlemania.

3) Randy Orton and The McMahons – I was really hoping that Triple H would dub Randy Orton and The Shield the newest incarnation of Evolution but it looks like perhaps they are somewhat doing the return of The Corporation.  Randy Orton and Triple H were always meant to be Heels. Nothing about their personality ever really said they were a babyface so this is a good change going forward.

4) CM Punk I’m loving the fact that CM Punk is holding his own against the Paul Heyman Guys. I mean he’s out numbered but they are constantly making him look like a fighter. If RVD we’re to come into the story I would eventually love to see Punk team with RVD. RVD vs Punk would be simply awesome as well!

5) RVD – It looks like Christian is going to be an afterthought after he was unable to defeat Alberto Del Rio for The World Heavyweight Championship. Richardo returning to represent RVD pretty much guarantees that RVD will be the new No. 1 Contender for Alberto’s title.

6) Dolph Ziggler vs The Shield – How awesome was it to see Dolph compete in a match like that!? Anytime Doplh hits the ring he is going to pull out all the stops. The way that match played out with him almost getting the win was awesome! Seeing him get speared right in the middle of what looked like a stinger splash was enough to make me cringe. This man can sell any move there is!

Well there you have it folks, a quick rundown of some of my favorite thoughts and moments pertaining to this week’s episode of RAW. Be sure to check back next Tuesday for the next issue of… RAW IS XANATOS.

Greetings Kick Out at 2 readers and welcome back to this week’s edition of RAW IS XANATOS! Like everyone else I’m really looking forward to Summer Slam this Sunday. WWE has been on an awesome high since Payback and the current state of the product works. So much talent has been featured utilized in the correct manner on both Raw and Smackdown over the last few months. With Daniel Bryan being the number one contender for the WWE Championship it has no doubt been a fun time to be a fan. With the WWE’s second biggest PPV only days away let’s take a few minutes and highlight this episode of Monday Night RAW with…RAW IS XANATOS!

My Top Moments of this RAW:

1) MIZ TV:  Daniel Bryan and John Cena Promo  – By typing that I really mean Daniel Bryan. Daniel’s promo rang so true here because he said everything that most WRESTLING fans. Not only did Cena come off as a total douche bag in this segment he looked like a fool while doing so. This very promo was the personification of everything that is wrong with this ENTERTAINER. This part of the interview where Bryan talked about the Japan custom and stating Cena wasn’t a wrestler was awesome. I think everyone is ready for a title change and I hope WWE is smart enough to go through with it.

2) “The Best” vs “The Beast”- Like I’ve said in previous weeks this is a match I’m looking forward to as well. I think it has been built up well utilizing Brock’s limited schedule but the match Sunday should be interesting. A year ago the only way we could see this match was in the WWE 13 video game. All that changes Sunday/

3) Randy Orton vs Damien Sandow – I’m glad they are using Orton more and more here lately. Like everyone else I have been begging for him to turn heel and Sunday he may have just the right opportunity to do so.

4) Triple H making himself the referee for The WWE Championship Match It seems like this has been Triple H’s thing to do at Summer Slam. He did the same thing 2 years ago so it could be cool to see him in the mix. Daniel winning the title with Triple H presenting it to him would be a great symbol of the turning point in WWE. One of the greatest in the past 20 years presenting the future of the company with its most prestigious title.

5) RVD – Seeing RVD win the 20 Man Battle Royal to become Number One Contender to the United States Championship makes me happy. As much as I love The Shield I would love to see RVD jump right back into the mix with a title like this.

Im a few days late this week with my article due to a few doctors appointments and what not but here we are back on track. This weeks RAW was back to the live format we all know and love so it felt alittle more like Monday Night RAW. While still aittle slow at certain points it was still a solid show. I look for next week to be very good and take us into the 2nd biggest WWE PPV of the year. For now though let’s take a few minutes and highlight this weeks episode of Monday Night RAW with…RAW IS XANATOS!

My Top Moments of this RAW:

1) Daniel Bryan – Daniel’s opening segment no doubt reminded me of the time Vince tried to transform Stone Cold Steve Austin into the “company man”. Bryan and Stone Cold both earned the respect of the fans simply by being themselves. Daniel’s constant use of the word WRESTLER made me happy. This is what I’m a fan of. Not “Sports Entertainment”. This needs to happen on a more regular basis. On a side note Cena running down the indies was a totally heelish thing to do. Saying that other wrestling promotions do not matter was absolutely ridiculous.  I guess that’s what happens when your a product of the machine. Expect a full rant from Shane or myself about this in the coming week.

2) “The Best” vs “The Beast”- Brock attacking CM Punk this week actually surprised me. I didn’t expect to see Brock again until next week. WWE is paying him big bucks though to be a part timer so we should see more of him on a regualr basis. Punk was busted open again during this segment which makes me wonder if Brock can ever have a segment in which someone isnt left bleeding. It seems like every time he hits the ring someone is covered in blood. All it does is make me miss when “blading: was a thing we saw each week.

3) RVD vs Alberto Del Rio – I really want RVD to be The World Heavyweight Champion and I feel its only a matter of time before that happens. Del Rio attacking Ricardo after the match was a genuine shock. Since Ricardo competes on the indy circuit maybe its time we see him as an active competitor in the WWE.

4) Christian vs Heath Slater Christian back on the active roster makes me happy and I hope WWE is ready to give him a good long run with the World title. I would give anything for Christian vs RVD at Wrestlemania.

5) Kofi Kingston returning – I’ve always liked Kofi but have always been let down he seems to be forever stuck in the mid card level. Hopefully this return will allow him to take the next step. I’m totally digging his new look also.

Greetings Kick Out at 2 readers and welcome back to this week’s edition of RAW IS XANATOS! Last night’s episode of RAW was prerecorded so it wasn’t as great as it could have been. It seems like everytime RAW is recorded before time it loses its magic and I’m not sure why. Also seeing John Cena vs Ryback in a Table match for the 3rd or 4th time was just simply unnecessary . That being said RAW was a total failure it just wasn’t anything to special. It looks like the normal Superstars who save the bland moments of RAW were at ti again last night so let’s take few minutes and highlight this episode of Monday Night RAW with…RAW IS XANATOS!

My Top Moments of this RAW:

1) Daniel Bryan  – I simply love that the entire WWE “Universe” is so behind Daniel Bryan. Hearing Cena get booed during any interaction with him brings a smile to my face. I’m glad people are starting to realize true talent is greater than cheap repetitiveness, Daniel is on fire now and at Summerslam I have no doubt he will be WWE Champion.

2) Mark Henry and The Usos vs The Shield- I love mark being paired with The Usos. If this leads to matches at SummerSlam I will be happy for sure. Mark is a valued member of the roster and if teaming him with The Usos helps to establish them Im all for it.

3) Christian vs Alberto Del Rio – I have alwyas enjoyed Christian but feel WWE fails to put as much faith in him as they should. He is by far one of the most talented individuals that they have ever employed and I really hope he moved back in the title picture sooner than later. That being said he does need to drop “The Spear” as his finishing move seeing as how Kaitlyn has made that move looks a lot more devastating than Christian ever has. I’m not saying… I’m just saying.

4) RVD Here is another guy I just love to watch. I’m hoping that WWE will eventually lead to RVD vs Christian at some point, hopefully for The World heavyweight Championship. I would love to see these two guys caught up in a story that should have happened between these two 10 years ago.

5) CM Punk – I’m really digging this story and seeing Punk with the one clear goal in mind of taking out the “Paul Heyman Guys” is awesome. Aside from Daniel Bryan this is the thing I’m looking forward to the most at Summerslam!
